imaginary space

It’s been a long time since i posted. It’s the last 2 weeks of school so everything is really hectic. I don’t really have the time to post things up. I am also still refraining from posting anything new i’ve been doing with the children’s book so the whole blog feels lacking. I feel bad. and its already 4:30am in the morning so i figured what the hey, i’ll post something.

The assignment is to make up an imaginary space and focus on how the space is lit. also it needs to have figures in them.. so heres what i did.

this was the original from my sketch book. basically just colored on top

then i stretched it out thinking the comp will look betterand finally playing around with the color and adding the characters in. 

It still looks very half hearted. even though it took me such a long time to draw all those vanishing points to understand how the lines are moving. I don’t know if i will come back to this one to improve it in the future.

spring break is finally here!!!!!!

so i made it this far… i have some art stuff that i’ve done, but i’m not ready to show it yet. in the mean time i would like to test out how the video function works with embedded HTML. here it goes

i really love this song. it’s Smile Around the face by Four Tet. i listen to this song at least once every day and i recent saw the music video for it. i never knew the imagery was so interesting and well thought out as well. the video is great, theres a lot of meaning behind it, which makes it all the more interesting to like about it. i don’t care what anyone thinks. IT’S GREAT!
